This years Keynote Speaker is Eclipse Winning Hall of Fame Jockey, Pat Day.
Pat Day
 Pat Day is a four-time winner of the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Jockey and was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1991. Day also received the George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award in 1985, given annually to a North American jockey who demonstrates the highest standards of professional and personal conduct. In 1995, he was voted the Mike Venezia Memorial Award for "extraordinary sportsmanship and citizenship".
We are truly honored to have Pat Day as our Keynote Speaker for the 2014 Remember Me Rescue Celebrity Fundraiser.

Last years event raised more than $30,000 for retired racehorse rehabilitation and retraining.  It also allowed us to build an intensive care facility to be able to safely work on and treat the injuries of the horses that need it most.  
 
This year we would like to purchase equipment that would help us treat and heal injuries faster.   We have our sights on a Cold Salt Water Spa but they are very expensive.   The company that sells the spas has offered to donate a portion of the purchase price and the installation if we meet our goal.
 
If we had this equipment we could greatly reduce the healing time of common racetrack injuries such as bowed tendons and suspensory injuries allowing us to begin retraining injured horses more quickly as well as place more horses in their new forever homes in a shorter amount of time.   In turn this will allow us to accept more horses in to the Remember Me program.
