Cactus Cafe and Canuki arrived at Remember Me Rescue on Saturday October 13th. Why are these two horses so special you ask? They were literally pulled from the slaughter house after being accepted for slaughter by the plant.
These two horses along with the people who followed their journey are responsible for the reduction in the number of thoroughbred racehorses that will be sent to Canadian slaughterhouses.
