This is the info provided by his previous owner who had owned him his entire life.
"Here are some pics of Blue - headshot is at 6 yrs. Jump shot is at 10 yrs.
He is sound legged, good feet, good weight. He has not been ridden in about 2 yrs. He is 17.2 tall and a typical energetic TB. He would love to be in a consistent program and likes attention. His one unsoundness is a breathing issue that would only limit him to the upper performance challenges. When he was 2 he slipped in cross ties and broke a couple of vertebra in the withers. This has not been an issue at all with his performance or with saddle fitting. His breeding is: out of Sassy n Smart (x Smarten) x Right On Blue (x Raise a Native)"
During preparation for adoption we found other issues with Blue. He is not a as perfect as she led us to believe and will need a very experienced rider or to go to a very good, patient trainer for some retraining. He is extremely spoiled and will act like he wants to flip but hasn't fell although he has reared. He will balk when he doesn't want to do something. But, if you ride him through the temper tantrum, (which happens as soon as you mount), he rides like a dream. When ridden everyday fits are short and sometimes do not happen at all. But give him a few days off and he is likely to experience one.
Ater working with Blue for several days I contact his previous owner and asked her to pick him up since she did not disclose his issues. She refused, stating she relinquished all rights to him and asked me not to contact her again so we are searching for a home for him. I would prefer he be a pasture ornament but would allow someone to try to work with him as a riding horse because he is so talented and beautiful.

Blue is a little lighter now but just as big and beautiful. He sticks exactly 17 hands. He is turned out with Yeah Me Do and will stay here at Remember Me Rescue until we find the right home for him.
