True Swither, a retired racing son of Three Chimney's Stallion Yes It's True, will be auctioned for charity before the Del Mar Paddock sale on July 22nd. The chestnut gelding has been retrained as a stable pony but is suitable for an everyday riding horse. His kind disposition will allow him to be suitable for any level of rider including children.
True Swither is a 4 year old winner who raced in Texas and Louisiana. He was retired in November of 2011 and was donated to Remember Me Rescue by his owners, James and Ywachetta Driver. He was such a neat horse Dallas and Donna Keen decided to retrain his as a stable pony to raise money for Remember Me Rescue. When we heard of the paddock sale at Del Mar it gave us a wonderful opportunity to not only raise money for our cause but to contribute to another racing venue that we participate in.
The money raised from the sale of True Swither will be shared with other 501(c)3 retired racehorse organizations in Southern California.
True Swither will be arriving at Del Mar on July 10th. He will be working during morning training hours at Del Mar as Dallas Keen's stable pony until the sale and will be available for anyone interested to visit.
