FANCY FORBES
Meet Fancy Forbes. Fancy is 21 and the daughter of the great Ferdinand, the Kentucky Derby winner in 1986 who was slaughtered in Japan after his breeding career lacked the number of mares to keep him profitable.
Everyone knows broodmares are the toughest to place. Once they are not able to breed people tend to discard them. In this mares case she had a good home but her owners had fell on hard times and needed to rehome her. We stepped in now instead of finding her in a bad situation.
Our original plan was to make Fancy a permanent resident at Remember Me but due to her fantastic health and that she is an easy keeper we have decided it would be best to find her a responsible home and make room to help a horse who needs us at RMR.
We need your help. Please share her with everyone you know that might be willing to give her a safe place to live out her days with her best friend, Endlessly.
Until we can find that perfect home for Fancy Forbes please consider giving a gift to help Remember Me continue to care for all of her needs.
