Yeah Me Do just celebrated his 33rd birthday we are asking his fans to make a donation in his honor to help with his expenses for 2016.
Here is a little information on Yammi's History...
Yeah Me Do started his racing career for his breeders Roy and Sue Andolfo in California in 1986. He raced through 1990 earning $72,930 in his career. During his last year on the track Yeah Me Do was claimed and the Andolfo's lost track of him. A year or so later they ran into the trainer who claimed him and they were told that he had died.
You can only imagine their surprise when they found out over 20 years later that their 'Yammi' is safe and sound at Remember Me Rescue. They were so happy to hear of this that they actually came all the way to Texas to visit him.

Read the full story on MY THOROUGHBRED BLOG Yammi arrived at RMR very thin on May 18, 2009. His owner said he couldn't afford the expensive he needed to stay in a healthy condition. Yammi had major problems. His teeth were in terrible condition. The bottom molars were going through the top gum and one bottom front tooth was going straight out of his lip. His hooves were actually starting to turn loose of the foot from malnutrition. In 2 months and and with lots of help from loving donors Yammi has been fully restored to a healthy condition. His hooves have grown and he has put on much needed weight. He is now fat and slick with tons of personality. We are even riding him bareback and bridle-less now. Yammi's care is ongoing although he is in great shape he will be hard to place in a new home due to his age. Any donation towards his care will be very much appreciated.
