Sunset Rider has been retired from racing for a few years now. He was adopted shortly after his retirement and enjoyed his new home. He learned a lot from his adopter including many dressage hours and trail rides. Unfortunately, his adopter had back surgery. She wanted Sunset to have a home where he could continue to enjoy his people. She returned him to RMR and he was quickly adopted by a young man but after a couple of years he lost interest and returned him to RMR again.
Although we are thankful that both of his adopters cared enough to return him to us, Sunset deserves a forever home. He is sound and suitable for any discipline. His only health issue is a throat surgery (arytenoid cartilage removal) that requires him to be fed and watered at ground level, but this will not affect his performance in any way although he will cough from time to time. He is 16 hands tall and suitable for an intermediate rider.
