Texas Citizen is a 6 year old thoroughbred gelding who retired from racing with a chip in his knee. This is a very common issue with racehorses but it usually does not prevent them for being very useful and productive in second careers. Texas Citizen may not ever be suitable for super big jumps, but that won't stop him from being a wonderful, trusting riding partner for his second career.
