Remember Me Rescue is a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Accredited 501(c)3 organization specializing in rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses.
Jersey Cut is a really cute 4 year old chestnut filly. She stands 16 hands tall and has a more of a stocky build. She was lightly raced with only 5 starts but was sidelined with a knee chip injury. She was rested for the chip but upon starting her retraining we found another issue with a back sesamoid injury. Our vet says she has a very good prognosis for a second career in any discipline but will need a few more months of rest.
She is currently available for adoption but only to someone who will be willing to follow our instructions for rehabilitation.
Jersey Cut gets along well with other mares. She has an athletic pedigree that includes Storm Cat and Secretariat.
