JUSTA AVERAGE JOE
Justa Average Joe is a 7 year old thoroughbred gelding who stands 16.2 hands tall. He retired from racing and was donated to RMR. He was quickly adopted but was returned. It seems if Joe is ridden several days a week he gets sore. He will do better with someone who only rides occasionally or on weekends.
Joe is just the sweetest and we are hoping his personality and looks will help him find the type of life after racing that he deserves. He has wonderful ground manners, is an easy keeper and gets along well with other horses. He has been through our desensitization course and is adapts easily to new situations. He was used in our magazine photo shoot for the Burleson NOW magazine in January 2015 and there are lots of pictures of him online. Joe will crib but it is easily controlled with a cribbing collar.
