Venture Database is a ten year old thoroughbred mare who we purchased on August 21st for $400 at the Cleburne Horse Auction. We had to flip lips to find her because no tb's were checked in. Glad we did, this super sweet mare didn't deserve to be there.
After arriving and settled in at RMR we did a routine vet check and bloodwork. Ventrure Database is in foal. We have no idea how far along she is or to whom she is bred. Since she appears to be a maiden mare and although we do not expect her to have any problems
we will keep her at RMR until she foals then her and her foal will be available for adoption.
Venture has been ridden and is very gentle. She is quiet for trail riding and is sound.
Venture Database is about ready to have her foal. Friday 4/25/14 Update. Venture's milk bag is full and she has big plugs. Her tail is still a little tight but we are getting very close. Don't wait to long to make your guess!!!
