Red Bird's Liaison is an 8 year old thoroughbred gelding who was originally adopted a couple of years ago. He was recently returned to RMR, his owners are moving to Florida and can not take him with them.
Red Bird was ridden by a pre-teen girl who started out jumping and showing and then decided to try barrels. At first, Red Bird was fine but after a few months he became worked up before barrel runs, (he was being ridden by a child with no professional training). They decided to just use him for trail rides.
Red Bird is having a training 'tune-up' here at RMR and will be available for adoption after he is thoroughly evaluated.
