Southern Thunder is a 7 year old, dark bay gelding. Southern Thunder is California bred. His owners donated Southern Thunder once he finished his racing career. Southern Thunder raced 40 times earning $156,706 during his career. Southern Thunder is the great-grandson of Halo, Dixieland Band and Seattle Slew.
Southern Thunder is recovering from a fractured seisimoid. He was rehabbed by his trainer at the track from April-July. He was donated to us by his racing connections in early July and we have continued his stall rest and rehab. His adoption fee will be minimal to anyone who agrees to continue his rehabilitation to ensure his full recovery.
