Viatorem is a 7 year old gelding who retired from racing almost a year ago. He was given some time off for a minor injury and was rehabbed several months, and then given even more time before he started training for his second career. Viatorem is 15.3 hands tall, has a beautiful head, a super thick forlock and thick, long tail. He resembles a quarterhorse more than a thoroughbred with his stocky build.
Viatorem has no bad habits, likes his groom time, and stands for baths and for the farrier. He is a funny guy and I think he knows it. You will never leave the barn in a bad mood after spending time with him.
Viatorem is a character. He is an in your pocket kind of horse. He will need an adopter who plans on spending a lot of time with him. Whether it is riding or just doing ground work, he will need to keep his mind busy. Most highly intelligent horses do better in fun homes with a lot of interaction.
You will need to be approved for adoption to visit him. An adoption contract that will follow him for life will be required. Please read over our adoption contract prior to filling out the application to make sure you are okay with the terms.
