Athenamore is a 15 year old, bay mare that originally came to us from a kill pen in Louisiana. Her breeder immediately bailed her out and sent her to Remember Me for quarantine and retraining.
Athenamore was adopted by a local family but she was not getting along well with their other young filly. She was recently returned so she could find a new family.
Athenamore is a lovely mare that has a very sweet temperament despite her recent bad luck. Her sire is Touch Gold, winner of the 1997 Belmont Stakes.
