Remember Me Rescue is a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Accredited 501(c)3 organization specializing in rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses.
Special UFO is a16.3 hand tall, 12 year old chestnut gelding. He retired from racing in 2016. After retiring, he was turned out at his breeders farm. In January 2022 his breeder made the tough decision to rehome his horses due to his age and health. UFO was brought to RMR.
Soon after arriving UFO found his person and moved to Houston to begin his new life. Unfortunately, his person is experiencing severe health issues and needed to return him.
Special UFO needs a little tune up but he will make a great riding partner for someone who wants to do flat work or trails. He was more whoa than go when we tacked him up and we had to continually ask him to keep him moving.
Special UFO was retired from racing with ankle issues which have since fused. Although he doesn't have much flex in his ankles, he is not in any discomfort.
Special UFO is a multiple stake winner with 27 lifetime starts. He was always a big fan favorite with his easy to recognize flashy stocking legs and big blaze. He will be the best looking horse every where you go. Please email remembermerescue@live.com for more information about Special UFO.
