Towering Oak is a 6 year old veteran racehorse who was recently retired sound by his racing connections. He is almost 17 hands, 16.3 and 3/4 to be exact. This guy has the sweetest, most kind disposition of any horse I have ever met. He loves people. He has no bad habits, no vices, and does not crib. He loves baths and would let you groom on him for hours. Towering Oak is a favorite with our volunteers for that reason.
Towering Oak is a lovely mover. He is laid back and has nice gaits. We have ridden him western but an English saddle fits him better. He has high withers and will require a very good saddle pad and properly fitting saddle for anyone who rides western.
